The Managed Care Ombudsman Program's resource for Medicaid members and their support system. The How to be Your Own Best Advocate Guide is intended to assist members and their loved ones with navigating the managed care system. This guide was developed in collaboration with Disability Rights, Iowa and the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council.

The Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa is a resource for individuals with disabilities as a result of brain injury. They offer a free service called Neuro-Resource Facilitation in which we link survivors, family members, and professionals with information, services, and resources. They also help advocate for and with individuals and provide emotional support as well.
