Debate Watching Party Grants

Get your friends together and have a debate watching party! ID Action is providing Debate Watching Party Grants of $50* for you to buy food, rent a room or cover other expenses so you can host a debate watching party.

First Presidential Debate

Monday, September 26

   

Vice Presidential Debate

Tuesday, October 4

   

Second Presidential Debate

Sunday, October 9

   

Third Presidential Debate

Wednesday, October 19

Grant Requirements

As an ID Action grant recipient, you will be required to provide a final report within three weeks of the conclusion of grant related activities. The final report will need to answer the following questions:

  • Did attendees learn new information about the candidates that they did not previously know?
  • Did watching the debate make an impact on how those who attended plan to vote? If yes, why? (Please do not identify the candidate attendees plan to vote for.)

To Apply

Along with the grant application, please submit a narrative that includes the information below for review by the ID Action team. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.

  1. Who and how many people will attend your activities?
  2. What will those who participate in the grant activities do differently as a result of their participation?

Deadline

Grant applications will be accepted through Friday, September 23, 2016, via mail or email.
